I have a Hesh castor oil, but rarely use it because it's so thick. I am back to doing OCM on my face, so let's see if it makes my eyelashes grow like weeds. lol
    Rest in peace, little kitty.

Try looking a near-by indian store - this is where I bought mine last time actually. Usually I would get it in a pharmacy though. So either place is worth checking

I use 4:1, castor to coconut oil (I like my oil mix on the thick side...) with a few drops of EO of choice & I use Home Health's cold pressed castor oil

I get organic castor oil from whole foods for OCM.

Well, I've tried it twice (50:50 mix of pharmacy castor oil and Vatika oil), and I'm shedding more than usual. I think I'll give this a break for a few weeks, and then see if it does it again.

Scalp oiling may be one of those things that I simply can't do. The more stuff I put on my scalp, the more I seem to shed.

Another proof that everyone's scalp is different and responds differently...

For example, now that I introduced castor oil to my routine again (after a couple of months), I find that I shed a lot less during washing and I already have some new growth at my hairline, especially around temples where I had some thining.
I just love castor oil! I usually add 2-3 drops of rosemary and chamomile EO to it for every scalp massage.

Also I have no problems what so ever with oiling the scalp and find that a CO removes it easily.

So if someone who to use castor oil for a scalp massage 1. can you massage it in with a brush and 2. should the oils stay on your scalp for a certain amount of time before you wash your hair? i have a partial bottle of castor oil from a pharmacy. Can I mix it with coconut oil so it won't stink? Is it safe to microwave it? Maybe this would help my bare nape hair area.
