I self trim. I put my hair in a ponytail and cut.
But not much 1/4-1/2 inch every 3th month.

I don't self trim but might give it a go in the future. I have a good friend who used to be a hairdresser, and although she thinks I'm demented an@l weirdo about how much she is 'allowed' to cut off she does only trim what I ask.

Sometimes, but rarely. I search and destroy, but never go to the hairdressers.

I said no because my mum trims it for me. I do some S&D or dusting sometimes.

I do, and in fact just did a couple of days ago. I used Feye's method, then kind of went freehand on the layers.

Yes. I trim infrequently but I use Feye's method when I do.

I self trim but not very often. I've mainly done S&D on my ends and use Feye's method for minor trims.

I'm a self trimmer since joining LHC. Finally I have gotten some appreciable length.
Haven't been to a salon in about 5 years---they ALWAYS cut off any new growth. After that, I had my daughter trim it, which was better than the salon but still took off too much.
I trim it myself now, only taking off the tiniest bit.

I trimmed/cut about 5-6 inches back in July 2008. Then I took a smidge off the first week of December. I'm just too chicken to trim myself anymore. And I'm too chicken to go to the salon. I'm stuck. \

So, I did self trim, but now I don't.
