Do you self-trim?

I self-trim. Never had much chance though, just twice.

Yes, I actually was doing this for about a year before joining LHC purely because I wanted to save the money.
Now I do my own trims and dustings. When I first joined LHC I did a dusting every 2 weeks to get rid of scraggly ends, make ends thicker, ad minimize layers.

I am planning on cutting severely back on trimming in 2009, but when I do need to, I will do it myself.

I self-trim as well...and it seems to work very well for me! The easiest method for me, is using mirrors positioned so that I don't have to tilt my head to see my back, all the way down.

The jury is still out on whether I will continue to trim when it reaches thigh. I seem to change my mind constantly about that. LOL

I said no as I'm not comfortable with the idea yet, but I do plan to eventually. I will need to get rid of my layers before I'll start this, but one of these days I plan to invest in a pair of hair scissors and learn to trim my fringe. Using Feye's Trimming Method will follow once my accursed layers go bye-bye.

I use Feye's method to give myself little trims. I feel way more comfortable having more control over how much comes off. lol

I voted yes. I always self-trim and have done it since May 2008. It is due to bad experiences with fairdressers. They almost always cut way too much or add too much layers.

I'm afraid of what my hair will look like if I self-trim at my current length but I definitely will once it becomes longer (but then again, I'll probably won't trim it at all).
