We have always pay the VAT, which is 25%. Custom taxes only if the value is 1600 SEK or more. And a standard handling fee per package.

Just happened to look on the internet and found the tax threshold is 300 SEK. I figured anything below that doesn't get taxed?

What... Where did you find that?
I just checked Tullverket's website, and they say it's 1600 SEK.

ETA: I mean, you have to pay custom taxes if it's 1600 SEK. But you always pay VAT, even if it's just 1 SEK.

Hmm, I have no idea what they actually mean. Anyway, my order was more than 300 SEK.

But this is my first order from outside EU, it'll be interesting to see how everything turns out, if everything is as I expect. Though I think other Swedish members have ordered flexis without any problems.

Whaaaaat? That's the highest threshold I've heard of within the EU, way above ours *grump*

It does say Tax threshold, with Tax being the VAT.

I nearly picked up the mini Aurora (the only one under our threshold even in the sale

) to use the centrepiece on an XL crystal base, but then realised the centrepiece is smaller up until the M

still, glad I noticed before completing the purchase.

I don’t think the 300 SEK treshhold is correct. My last purchase from lillarose was 289 sek including shipping and I had to pay VAT and the 75 SEK handling fee.
I’m pretty sure we’re paying both VAT and the handling fee from 1 SEK. And we have to pay VAT on the shipping cost as well.
