So, shockingly…I’m actually here I think. This is the longest my hair has ever been. And yes, it’s only a few bits because I cut it in a weird shape, but…

Here's my final pic for 2021, looks like hip is closer to 31 vs 32" so I've got about 1 inch to go, late February and I'll be there - would have made it this year if I was happy to keep my crusty ends away from the scissors ✂️

What hairstyles is everyone doing at this length? My hair is super thick(5" ponytail) so I've mainly been doing English/Dutch braids and sometimes crown braids because I find my hair isn't quite long enough to stay in buns comfortably(I really hope one day they'll finally click for me)
My hair is living it's own life it doesn't need me to worry about it. Waist(28"), 29", 30", 31", HIP!(32").

With that thickness I have no idea what I'd be doing! I usually default to wearing it down, in a braid, or in a bun. Cinnabun held with claw clips, disc bun, lazy wrap bun, and now the reversed L-infinity bun. Most of these are probably not doable on 1.78x the amount of hair though! Disc bun isn't the prettiest but with the fact that the hair is split before wrapping it was one of the first I could do comfortably. Crown braids are really lovely so it's nice to hear you can do those

Yeah, buns are only possible for me if I have a mega flexi clip.
I'm mostly doing braids.
