Waist | Hip

I had a thought, can I be a part of this thread AND the "waist to tailbone" thread or do I have to choose one or the other?

I came into this thread without even looking at the "Waist to tailbone" thread because I'm not super sure I want to grow to tailbone length. My original goal was waist, and now it's tentatively hip, and I may maintain at hip or I may keep growing.

Part of me is curious to find out exactly where terminal is on me, because several years back I was at or a little past classic with no particular signs of terminal, but that much hair got to be more than I could handle, and I'm not sure that won't be even more true now since my health has taken a downturn.

So for now, here. Plans for later can be sorted out later.

AZDesertRose, I can understand that. I'm not sure I want to grow past hip (curly) so the only reason I'm in the Waist to Tailbone thread is because even if my curly hair is only hip, it would still be a lot longer straight. But I also want to belong to this thread. lol

Well, given that your hair could be several different lengths depending on how tight the curl is on any given day, understandable!

Mine's fairly straight; it has basically just enough wave to have an attitude problem. So that means it's pretty much always the same length (slightly longer if completely wet, which I think is true for a lot of people).

I joined this thread instead of w->tb because I'm not sure how much longer my hair can get before it becomes too difficult to manage. Even now at waist I'm having trouble with my braid getting in the way at night. And it seems to take forever to do any kind of braid or bun.

I agree with AZDesertRose : I only originally planned to go to waist but now I'm like "Hmmm I'll see where this goes". But I also agree with lithostoic - my hair can be an issue at night. I don't like braiding to sleep because I prefer not to have waves for the daytime. I've tried a cap and it sometimes gives me a headache.

Well, for goodness sake! I guess I hadn't really realized where my hips start! I put my hand on my hips earlier and felt my hair brush my hand! I've hit hip!!
