Cutting many times, buzzing it all off twice (!), perms, chem dyes,
I barely did anything to my hair, just dying some locks with a red colour that would get washed out with 3 washes, so I only regret cutting it when I was 11.

Cutting many times, buzzing it all off twice (!), perms, chem dyes,
um, about 4 years ago, i chopped off my waist length hair at 3 am to about chin length. and while it was ok, i wasn't completely satisfied, so the next day i got me two boxes of this bright red highlights kit and applied both of them to my entire head. it came out really really bright red, so the next day i got a box of a dark brown that's closer to my natural color. eventually it faded to sort of an ash brown. i kept it until it was long enough to cut out that dyed area.

For me, it's not just one single act that I regret. Like someone else mentioned, it was what I *wanted* at the time, so it made me happy at the time. What I regret most was years of chemical hair color. I wish I'd never started down that road back in my 20's, it's almost addictive!
I wish I had found this site before I donated my hair to LOL.
In the 8th grade I used a box bleach kit. I didn't know that getting it close to the scalp would make my hair lighten very fast because of the heat.
When I saw that my roots had been bleached white I washed. However the ends were monkey-butt orange.
I was too scared to use more chemicals to fix the situation. Instead I covered my platinum roots with a brown crayola marker for two weeks.
haha I'm sure I looked like an idiot.
1) Cutting my hair when I was 5 or 6 to try to imitate my cousin's Farrah Fawcett style...I ended up with a shag.
2) Far too much Sun-In in middle school.
3) Every time I cut it above BSL.
4) Every time I cut bangs of any kind.

Doing an at home dye job last March '08 with a bright ruby red and only 1/2 my hair came out colored. I went to a hair dresser to have it fixed and I decided to do highlights and a color job. Wish I never had done it. All the color washed out, my ends are still red, I have brassy highlights on my sides, and my hair is still slightly damaged on the ends. I'm tempted to cut to shoulder length before the 1st of the year and then join the no cut/trim in '09 thread.
