Yeah, I still wouldn't and I am pretty sure there is even less chance security would even let you through with them now than there was in 2008.

My mom, when she washes her hair, sets it on rollers (the old bristle brush "guts" inside kind). It always comes out nice. She does it because she has fine i hair, and it creates a nice head of hair for her.

Another thing -- I imagine there being some security issues with that. When I had my hair in a bun they asked me to to take it down to go through the x-ray. I was kind of flattered they thought my bun was big enough to hold contraband!
