Sure. I normally wouldn't wear rollers in "public"--like to the grocery store--but then, I would never sleep in public, either, and people sleep on planes and (to a lesser extent) in airports all the time. You'll never see these people again. Go for it!

Personally there's no way I could wear rollers to the airport, store, etc. One time I wore them just to the drive thru at the bank and was so embarrassed! Never again!

Personally I wouldn't, you could try twisting your hair up in sections (I think they're called buntu knots but not sure) as that would be more discreet and comfortable I should imagine

I've never worn rollers... I don't even like the bit of wave I have.

If I were inclined to wear rollers, I wouldn't mind wearing them to the airport. I like being goofy.

I voted yes, but I should qualify that response. Nowadays, I would not wear rollers, even covered, out of doors, but I would consider doing small pincurls and covering my head with a buff, a scarf or a beanie. That said, I used to wear hot rollers in my car often (like practically every day on the way to work!) when I used to hot roller my hair all the time. I would take them out as I was pulling into the parking structure and just leave them in my car, shake out my hair, use a little hairspray - et voila - styled hair for work!

I actually have gone to the grocery store in a bikini! Never alone, always with a group of friends and during the summertime ... we lived in an oceanfront house and would ride our beach-cruisers over to the store to pick up whatever essentials we needed (like one trip involving nail polish remover and beer!). It was a beach town and the only people who ever blinked an eye were those that didn't live there.

Nope....it has been decades since I curled my hair....and I have no need now with my silver curling on it's own.

I'm making a longer plane trip soon, and my curls would be much looser if I took them out six or seven hours before I arrived. I want to look positively radiant for my Husband, who will be patiently waiting at the other end. Obviously, he'd find me sexy with coconut-slop hair or no hair at all, but...ah, the joys of vanity and romance.

I feel like such a tool going in rollers, though.

    Opinions?
    I would - covered though.

I wouldn't care what the other passengers thought, I'd also want to look radiant for hubby if he hadn't seen me for abit.

2 secs after you have left that plane strangers won't matter but he will
