Im 41 so I dont mind, but I have had some greys since my twenties... when I get enough im gonna dye it all lavender!!!
    Sounds like a good plan
I had plenty of greys already when I was over 30 but I dyed it many times with henna and indigo. Now I'm soon 43 and I decided to switch to silvers

Hi Rags! Great to "see" you! Yeah I'm just taking after my dad, he was white by my age (I'm 44 now! At least for another month lol) We even had the same pattern of streaks first. All my siblings grayed early but we've all had different patterns. Like one of my younger sisters had her first gray earlier than me (14) but I'm grayer than her now.

Love seeing it shine through paulownia!

I definitely learned a lot and had some lovely support along the way. All the inspirational photos really helped me too, so I want to give back a little and hope to help someone else be brave enough to love their hair as it is.
    Your hair is gorgeous!

I am waiting for the day when I have way more salt than pepper in mine!

I tried to do a fancy updo for a formal event and it turned out pretty well I think (I struggle with finding things to work for my hair being on the thin side.) I managed some tendrils and realized they're completely white now! I'm still gray everywhere and streaky, with the darkest bits in the back, but my tendrils are so white!

Further experiments with alternatives to henna and indigo
This time I'm pretty sure I'll stay with this one.
Katam, mixed with distilled water and a pinch of salt and a dash of baking soda. Left on clarified and chelated hair for 3 hours.
Gives dark grey which blends perfectly with my natural ash brown and silvers.

I think it's very pretty, paulownia. I would just let it go. Do nothing for it, I mean Just wash, condition, that's it.

Me? I have become very minimal in my old age. I'm 50. I can't be bothered with long routines anymore. Also due to what recently happened with my mom falling over, twisting her ankle and breaking her foot.

I have been natural for about 10 years after an allergic reaction to some hair dye. I actually like it now and just tell everyone that I earned every one of these silver threads!
