    Default Starting my journey again

I've been in a constant state of grow for a bit, buzz it all off, grow for a bit, for the last 3 years.
I've finally made it past the first year of growing, last buzz was may 2023. I've had few trims over the last few months but its getting there and for the most part, I no longer have urges to cut.

I don't do many pics but these are ok. First is my curls immediately after washing, the second is my 2nd day hair. Almost all the curls fall completely out

Your hair is beautiful. The color, the curls, everything. And you're lovely!

I'll bet you could bring those curls back on 2nd days by misting and scrunching? Or have you tried that? Is that a stupid comment? LOL. I'm not a curly so forgive my ignorance. But it's beautiful wavy too. Although I'm not very wavy, my hair does look different every single day -- a few kinks, very straight, a little wave -- I never really know what I'm going to get so I feel ya on "it does what it wants" hair.

I don't think your current length stat is accurate. There's no way your hair is only 2", LOL

I'm growing as well. We can do this!

I spent most of my life waiting for the right time to grow my hair. You'll know when that time comes, and I think you'll be happy with the progress you'll see as the weeks and months progress. Looks like you have very versatile hair, and that makes it even easier to change it up as it grows. Wishing you the best as the journey continues. Do it for you!

That’s fantastic Obsidian! Congratulations on getting through the worst bit. It’s no mean feat.

Your hair looks lovely, and I can’t wait to see how it looks as it grows.

Despite seeing your name on the forum a lot, I think this is the first time I've seen your hair. It is looking lovely, and your expression in the second photo is so sweet : ) Good luck, and congrats at breaking the "buzz cycle"!

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I'm very happy to make it to this point, I had almost given up.

WednesdayAddams normally curls can be brought back but mine are so very delicate, I have to soak my hair to get them back. Its ok though, its versatile this way. I have to admit that the color in the second pic is fake, I just box dyed a couple days ago.
I do need to update my info, thanks for the reminder

Bat My hair usually sits somewhere between the two, it went extra straight that day.
