It is that time of year again!

I've reposted the rules and kept the same categories, so the years can be compared. Links to the previous polls can be found above.


The rule with this poll is you pick the length you're currently closest to. If you're more than 1/2 way to the next landmark, pick the next closest one. For example, if you're just past BSL but not yet more than 1/2 way to waist, pick BSL. If you're more than 1/2 way between BSL and waist, you go down as waist in this poll.


For curlies and wavies, go with whichever measurement method you consistently use to declare milestones.


Because polls can only have 10 options, I've had to combine hip and TB (I thought that was more fair than eliminating mid thigh, because the thigh expanse is SO far!


It is really interesting to do this every year and seeing how our average length changes over time!

I answered hip/tailbone! It's nuts that I'm that close to tailbone already that I get to round up to it.

I answered BSL. I was a little past APL last year after cutting back quite a lot. I’m not quite at MBL yet, my hair is roughly around the bottom of my shoulder blades - I think, I’ve only glanced at the length.

My focus is on keeping a good hemline and shape, rather than max length. I trim when the hemline goes too far out of shape.

I'm still at MBL. Very, very close to waist, but I haven't officially measured yet, and I'm sure I'll be doing a little trim in the new year. But hopefully the next time this poll comes around I'll have made it a couple more milestones along! Waist for sure, but I'm hoping hip.

BSL/MBL same as it was last year (but that's only because I had it trimmed back to in between APL and MBL in mid June, otherwise it would be closer to WL, the longest I'll go before trimming it back to BSL/MBL again).
