Is it me or is LHC super laggy lately

Aha! I was certain it wasn't just me. I've been getting the 503 errors for a while bunch of things. It primarily seems to hit all the shortcut things, like going to new posts, or going straight to last read, or final post in a thread

ETA and it popped up the 503 error when I hit post, but the post did go through

In response to Braided Lady, interesting that you got the 503 error when you hit post, whereas I got sent to the Go Advanced page.

Also, I couldn't directly quote you because it got stuck loading for all eternity!

I'm just glad folks mentioned that the 503 errors were mainly coming up when hitting new posts and final posts because I hadn't caught on. I thought it was random but knowing this makes the site much easier to navigate in its current state.

I started getting 503 error as of today, when I want to go directly to the latest post someone made...aaand when I hit post as well apparently.
And for a while I've been getting Page not responding Stay or Leave message when I hit post.

Yes to that last part as well.
No trouble as of yet today for me... knock on wood...

The trouble has disappeared for the moment... I tried all the things that popped an error for me before, and nothing has come out 503 yet...

The forums have been slow for me too, but it has never bothered me too much. I occasionally get 503 errors as well.

I don't know if I have had the 503 error but I have had the leave post message and the lags still bad

There are over 400 guests around right now. They are probably some kind of bots/spiders and I'm pretty sure that's what causing the lag and the server to be busy.

We had a similar issue some years ago, but I don't remember what the fix was. I'll do some digging!
