Default Your favorite masks / treatments?

    What are they? Please share...

I recently discovered my local (online) drugstore, Kruidvat (the Belgian part of the site) sells "Novex" and "Shea Moisture", and "Cantu" and a couple other "curl brands". But I had never ever seen the Novex masks and conditioners anywhere in my country. Yes, Brussels might have it, but that's an international city quite unlike the rest of Belgium in products you can obtain for, especially, hair care.

Anyway, it was a 2nd one 50% off deal, so I got 2, as you do. So that is how I ended up with 2KG of the stuff; the black/turquoise packaging.

I tried it my last wash day. You really don't need much of the mask, just a small scoop and that's it. I was shocked at the results. 0 frizz. 0. That's amazing. Normally, when I style I have a small amount of "fuzz", as is normal, but this time... very smooth, even my wispy hairs behaved themselves.

    Totally recommend.

What's your favorite, or latest discovery. Please share!

I'm in Brazil and I love Brazilian cosmetics, so you guys might not find/know these.

It's gotten really hard to get Olaplex to Brazil in the last few years, so I've discoreved a local dupe called Bond Angel by Brať Hair Care. It's a whole line of products but all I needed was the ampoule/powerdose and the home care hair mask. The powerdose is very concentrated but doesn't weigh my hair down. I leave the mask for when I want something even lighter or plan on using heat.

Can you tell a difference in your hair between leaving it for 10 min vs 1 hr?

I just left it for 2 minutes, the tub does not require it to sit longer, but you can if you want to. I basically don't see a need to when the tub says 2 minutes and done.

Everybody (on LHC at least) already knows about the JOICO K-Pak but I swear by it. It makes my hair so happy. Also I've found that the Shea Moisture leave-in conditioner works better than any wash-out conditioner I've ever used. I love dialing in my low-maintenance hair-care routine. The less I have to rinse out of my hair, the longer my hair dye lasts. Score
