I haven't had any more problems since I posted about it on the 19th. So I think my issue was separate from lapushka's.
I coudn't acces the website and forum for a entire month. Navegator said something about segurance, today it offered me the option to continue anyway. I tought that LHC ended. ;(

I experienced slowness a few days ago. The board is fine today.
I assume some work may have been done on the server.

What can I say? It's just your standard connection time-out page? I don't think that needs to be screenshotted, I mean...?
Chromis, I might have it wrong then as well.
I have no issue continuing on with the proxy servers, but it is a little bit annoying. Last time Bat had the same issue. Haven't seen him around in a bit, and he regularly posts, so...?
If the site times out and is unreachable, and those that have this message don't have the tech capacity or insight to realize you should go through a proxy server, or at least try, then what can I say, you won't hear from any of those people.
Oh, and I still have this issue!
Could someone please explain what "using a proxy server" means? I have no clue.
JESUS, MY LORD AND SAVIOUR
In a nutshell, a proxy is another computer you use to make internet requests to a resource on your behalf instead of making the requests directly to the resource yourself. That way if your computer (ip address) is blocked for some reason (censorship, antipiracy, glitch), you can still access the resource via the proxy. Until your proxy gets blocked and you have to find another. A proxy server just provides proxies on request.

I can’t find the thread from earlier this year, it was around January/February and I couldn’t get onto the forum for a couple of weeks. I remember neko_kawaii saying that the site owner had messaged someone about firewalls but that’s as much as I can remember.
The time Chromis fixed it was different, lots of people were getting timed-out messages. Chromis reset a value to 0 I think? That sorted it.
lapushka, last time, you mentioned that your security settings had got extra strict somehow and you thought that might have had an effect. It’s worth checking?
I did find the thread yesterday which is why some of this stuff is fresh in my mind, but I can’t remember what search term I used to find it!
ETA: Found it!!

Mod hat off. Mod hat on. Don't make me wear the mod hat, it messes up my hair. *grin*
Oooh, I am glad other people remember these things! I'm going to have to give it all a read with my morning tea and properly catch myself back up. I do vaguely recall the NIX server load limit issue from before now that I've been reminded. I'll have to check the setting again and make sure they didn't get reset with any updates done during the security cert and photo album fix.
Head full of mushrooms I tell you. (The kitties and I have been out hunting, have gotten a few pounds of chanterelles, corals, and lobsters so far)
