Once I stopped trimming, I started seeing growth. When I learned to make an updo that was easy and comfortable, that helped a lot - I no longer stalled at bra-strap.
Protecting and oiling the end/tips of you hair will help stop breakage which is the reason hair growth will appear to stall. Massaging your scalp may stimulate blood flow to the hair follicles and increase hair growth and quality.

Opting out of Friend Requests, thank you very much!
For me, getting enough protein really helped. Enough being at least 1.5 to 2.2 grams (of protein, not protein-containing food) per kg of weight. For example, 3 large hard boiled eggs have 19g protein. In addition, healthy fats and a rainbow of veg.
There’s some data (idk where) that supports rosemary oil helping with hair growth. Dr Dray on YouTube mentioned it and I think her BS meter is pretty good. I have Weleda Rosemary hair oil, but its tough to get it directly on my scalp. Not sure if its working in that regard.

I'm a very impatient grasshopper. Oh well!
My growth picked up a little bit when I recovered from eating disorders. Other than that, I've never experienced anything that made my hair grow faster. If you're getting enough vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, and hydration your growth rate should be fine. Personally I prioritize scalp health & length retention over faster growth.
long hair is self care ♡

Drinking a few mugs of nettle tea every day has improved my rate of growth. Plus my hair always grows faster in warm weather.
Yes, measurement error! Outside of that and perhaps wishful thinking, unfortunately, no.
scalp > SL > MBL > TBL > FTL > KNEE > KNEE+

I figured out that my shampoo and conditioner was causing serious hair fall and switched to a gentle ph balanced shampoo and conditioner. Serious improvement in length and density over last 6 months. I also stopped using seed oils and switched to tallow as my primary oil with lanolin and now aloe Vera gel.
**Growing my way to terminal**
