I've never heard of that brand but that's an amazing deal!

Yep, if you can access an Aldi, be sure to check their body/hair care aisle at least once in your lifetime. Worth it. The soaps are A+ in my book. I did switch over to the soap bars from Lidl but that's just a preference thing. I could have gone either way, but the Lidl one leaves less residue in my sink. It is a plain old (non sles, so lye-based) soap bar after all and so is the Aldi one. (And yes the entire sink (+tap) is cleared off of all residue at least once or twice a week.) I don't know, less expensive than a Dove bar and the Dove bar is gone if you even just breathe on it. LOL! I think, if I'm not mistaken, they sell the soap bars per 2 in Lidl for slightly over 1 euro.

US Aldi's don't have a body/hair care aisle? Here they have the 1 aisle but it is packed with laundry detergent (several choices, in both liquid and powder), fabric softener (the "Fee" hypo allergic one/white one is amazing), anything from that to hygiene pads, incontinence pads (pads and pants, also Tena, the brand and of course off-brand), tissues, toilet paper in 2 thicknesses, 4-ply and 3-ply, kitchen towel in 2 thicknesses, shaving cream, shavers (men & women's), face care, body care (lotions, shower gels, bath creams), deodorant, soaps, handsoaps, 1L re-fill pouches for handsoap... trying to think as to what's all there... several choices of shower gels even, men & women's, several brand and non-brand (Aldi own brand) shampoos, they even carry Garnier shampoos here.

And I'll shut up now, before I start to sound like an Aldi ad, which is *not* my intention! It's just the only place we go, next to the Lidl and our local little grocer once a week, and well, that's all I know... you know?

Hm, yes, it is a wonderful deal. But if I were to be tempted into getting one, it would have to have at least one "natural" ingredient on the list, like aloe vera or some nourishing oil or something, you know? Just for the good feeling But thatīs just me, being fancy and unreasonable, asking too much for that price. Do they have more than that one kind?

I understand. I'm pretty OK with most ingredients, as long as I'm not allergic (!). Anyway, washed with this yesterday. Very neutral, not lingering or "too much" of a pleasant scent. Quite nice, actually. It's runnier than most shampoos I'm used to, say like a Head and Shoulders consistency, runnier than that but not "water" by any means.

I like it! For inbetween, to dilute the cost of most of my shampoos even further (LOL, listen to me! )... yeah, totally worth it. I would go as far as to say it could potentially replace my Aqua Light and that is saying a looot!

Our aldi had lacura body wash in addition to the hand soap. No lacura shampoo, though. Just head and shoulders.
The amount of personal care stuff probably varies by location.

It does; couple decades ago, we had almost zilch in personal care, mostly food!

    Oh that's a cool find
I like the blue Lacura conditioner with a decent account of protein in it. I can't remember how much it cost; we discovered Lidl do yummy doughnuts so have been going there more than Aldi recently but actually an Aldi opens tomorrow in the nearby town so when we visit, I'll have to remember to look out for whether they still have it. I have a feeling it might have been more like Ģ1.50 but still worth it, especially as my full washes are so infrequent.
(The Lidl version of it contained dimethicone and the most I'll go is water-soluble silicones, my hair gets lifeless with heavy cones.)
Length goal well and truly met, now just seeing how it grows ...
Picky scalp but easygoing hair, thank goodness

I got a second bottle. Why? Well the shelf was almost cleared and the week wasn't over yet, just a couple days in between visits (Saturday/Wednesday). I like it a lot! Also got a 1L Head&Shoulders bottle.

I do think I'm just even slightly dreaming. It's Sunday and my roots are barely oily.

No joke here. I don't know what this shampoo does, but it seems to be doing it.

I am oily by Friday (I weekly wash, every Sunday). A little more by Saturday. And Sunday, I just have to wash, no way around it. I can, depending on what shampoo I use (the clay and charcoal ones) delay by just one day. But that's it.

    My goodness. Who'd have thought?
