Default How many times has your natural hair texture changed?

Counting number of distinct changes, not number of textures. (Sorry if this poll already exists, I couldn't find it!)

For example, my hair was curly when I was born, changed to pin straight as a child, went curly again in middle school, and now that I'm an adult it's wavy-wurly but much straighter again—so it's changed three times (so far).

The only time I saw my texture change was due to heat damage or chemical straightening processes. Other than that, it's been the same my whole life! (I don't count baby hair (under 2 years), since everybody's baby hair texture changes.) But I have known several people who went straight>curly.

Never/not that I can recall. I was born with naturally curly hair and it's still naturally curly. It may have gotten more curly after it came back from chemo, but it's now back to the way it used to be (though it might be a bit more coarse, but that can be more from aging than chemo). I've never chemically straightened it (nor would I want to) just dyed it a lot in high school (black, blonde, brown) and now it's brown naturally (not sure if it was from chemo or just getting darker as I age, perhaps a little of both, since my eyebrows and body hair are the same color they've always been).
