    Default Let’s talk hair extensions

I have very fine hair and no matter how hard I try I can’t get it to grow as long as I would like before the wedding. My hair is actually the longest it’s been in years at the moment so that’s awesome 👍🏻 I need to hear everyone’s thoughts on hair extensions.Which brand do you suggest for long wear, human hair no synthetic as I will be heat styling often.Do you suggest clip ins?Again I have very fine hair and I’m not a super girly girl so getting clip ins perfect happens maybe 3 out of 10 times lol.Are tape in extensions really that much better? How long will the extension last if taken care of?I know I’m looking at 6-8 week maintenance but are there any that can last at least a year?Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Stay away from tapes they are awful. Human hair if you want to heat style unless the extensions say they are heat resistant but they won't look real same with clip ins
I wouldn't recommend sown in weves not with fine hair you could get breakage or even headaches

If it’s solely for the wedding, I suggest just use some affordable clip-ins (or find a good hairstylist for the big occasion), they are easy to put on and take off, and won’t be as damaging as semi-permanent tape-in or sew-ins.
For the clip-ins to stay on more solidly, you can try back combining some of the hair roots, or make tiny ponytails close to scalp as an anchor for the clips to stay.

I DIY clips-in wefts by hand-tying my own hair sheds, so the color and texture matches perfectly. They are suitable for everyday wear especially if I want to make something quick and fancy like accent braids (a case in point is my signature pics, that intricate woven braid is from my own sheds), but I usually just use them for my fantasy or retro Hanfu historical styles.
Check out the link in my signature for more information if you’re interested.

I agree with tuanyigi. Just for the wedding, clip-ins are the best. Especially, since it's for a short period of time. Now, if you're looking for extensions to last up to 6-8 weeks or even 3 months....or even a year. GEt the human hair extensions by, "Hairfinity." But if you really want your extensions to last you a year you'll have to keep going back to your hairdresser that put in the sewed in extensions for you to just tighten them up and also to refresh them up. I really wish that you didn't have to do that in order to have your extensions to last longer but you do.
