    Default Hello from Scotland.

    Hello everyone.

I'm currently wearing a 'Shire Mullet' AKA Bilbo Baggins hair style. After using bleach on my long beautiful natural 'silver' hair last August 2022, after 4 years natural.

Anyway... the bleach made my hair fall out in clumps, I still have bald parts. I starting to grow out the bleach immediately. Recently I cut the bleach off all over, right to my 3-4 inch root growth. Turns out cutting hair to an average 3 inches all over gives a perfect mullet.

Now I am caring for my hair, using natural oils to nourish it, hardly washing it, just with water just now. Waiting on some clay products to arrive. I'm not (never did much) heat styling. It's wavy so not using a brush. I have a little comb, but mostly using my fingers.

I'm eating well and trying to nourish my scalp from the inside out. Looking forward to having my long hair back.

Would be nice to meet friends and learn from wise people how to grow my hair long.

    Blessings.

    Hello from England!

There are worse styles than mullets It means you can put your hair up sooner than you could if you trimmed the back, and it’s much easier to put it up and forget about it then.

    Welcome!

Your message made me laugh! You seem to be in good spirit, even though your hair hasn't been obeying lately I've had (unintentional) mullets before too. Hair clips and gel were my go to!

Happy growing! Don't hesitate to join threads and ask questions in the mane forum - we've all been newcomers once

Thank you so much. Your hair in your photo is so beautiful. I hope to achieve this length one day. I notice people using abbreviations for methods, is there a place on the forum where these are all listed so I can read up on them? Thank you for the welcome.

Thank you so much for the welcome. I do like the mullet, its nice to feel some length. And I don't feel like I'm starting from scratch, like a very short pixie. I'm wearing head bands, they help. And I'm happy to cover my hair over the summer, protect it from the sun. I'm looking forward to exploring the forums.
