Here’s my hairdo of the day.
I pancake the braid and make a hair rose out of it with a lot of pins. The nautilus bun doesn’t require any tool. I use simpler flower decorations so as not to steal the thunder.

O.k. I just saw natural looking flowers here, so I didn't dare.

Here a lotos flower in a Spock Bun from Brass Tonkin Craft on Etsy.





Then updos with sticks and forks by GreenleafArtworks from the UK.




The black Calla Lily is in a Celtic Knot, the copper Calla in a Helix Bun and the Fuchsia hair fork in a simple wrapped bun.

As you see, I prefer copper.

I'm happy you tried my Knot-in-Knot Bun and it worked. It depends on which point in the circle you pull the smaller knot through. Sometimes the whole bun gets kinda askew, depending on how much it will rake out from the loop knot. And it is also depending on how much taper one has. There are special buns, who look different everytime I make them.
