Oh, those are so pretty!

I love hair sticks. I own many hair sticks. I almost never wear hair sticks, because I almost never wear buns.

Oh that’s a shame that you don’t get to enjoy hair sticks much. You can even just insert them into your up-dos for decoration, even if they are not technically holding your hair and are not a bun. I also found out last night that you can even use a hair stick to hold a pony tail! Who knew!


Thank you about the brown sticks with the gold flowers. I was so shocked to find those at Claire’s






Ok, I’ve got my hair stick storage center, lol, all set up now. I’m gonna go take some shots for you guys. Back soon….

Ok so this is how I’m storing all my hair sticks…with cork board tiles! It’s the same way I keep my flexi clip collection on a bulletin board….so nothing gets scratched or damaged.


I will love that I can see them all at once and just grab a stick off the boards, that matches my mood on any given day. Every stick has it own little spot.


I got these 12” x 12” cork tiles at Staples….they came in a 4-pack. A great way to organize your sticks, if you have many, and it will keep them scratch-free.


I will need to hang up a third board soon, because my collection is growing. Haha! My goodness, I could rent them out, I have so many now. ��






Now it’s time to finish off my latest homemade sticks and then get my butt to bed. Oh who am I kidding…I’ll likely be up the night. Hopefully not but I sometimes get insomnia.

Oh thank you so much, love. Wall art…exactly! I had mine in a jar but I found I just couldn’t see some of them and was always clanking them around to pick out what I wanted.


I have other sticks on my other bulletin board with my flexies. I’ll show those later.

Ok so here are my finished homemade hair sticks. Painted these with a stunning metallic emerald paint and did two coats of glossy gel lacquer so they are smooth as silk. Enjoying the color-shifting bead toppers.

Those are some lovely forks and hair sticks….very nice. Love the adorable bat stick…..perfect for Halloween. Coincidently, I was just mentioning in another thread, that I would love to find some sticks to wear in October for Halloween. I might even make some. Perhaps I can find some pumpkin beads at some point.


That wooden hair fork is gorgeous. i have one but I find it very small. At some point, I’m gonna buy a GIANT wood fork.
