I use a plain soap bar. I just get the basic ones (with sweet almond oil) from my Lidl & Aldi, but I love the Lidl ones just a tad more. I mean they're both fine, but it's just a preference thing. Can't get more basic than that (cheap I mean LOL).

I don't use body wash, they are so fragranced that OMG my uncle used to use this a lot and when he walked by it was a scent cloud. Nope... I don't want to be that person.
WCC method (washing) --- Rinse-out oil (MO) --- LOC/LCO method (styling)

I forget how long it took before my hair was back to normal.

MusicalSpoons is correct about the effect of using baking soda (an alkaline) on hair and skin. It may seem fine at first, but I predict that the long-term effects will not be good.
I feel the same about vinegar rinses and baking soda. Baking soda dries hair out faster than anything, leaving a cakey mess and while many have good results with ACV, I never could stand the smell which lingered all around me all day.

If you want to use vinegar, buy white vinegar. It has no fragrance, is cheaper than ACV, and works just as well.

They will even do sliding scale prices. And their tea does great things too.
I looked up Essiac tea, and it seems to help with loads of health problems, not just cancer issues. I'm going to read a bit more about it, and will probably order some soon. Thanks for the advice!

Oh my goodness, Deborah! It even healed a dental abcess on a tooth that had broken off at the gumline! Essiac is fantastic stuff.

Not sure this is possible, friend. And baking soda will destroy your hair and your skin, but you'll find that out soon enough.

That's wonderful! It apparently helps heal a host of problems. I'm excited to give it a try. I'm just deciding how much to order.

Yeshuasdaughter, please be careful with Baking Soda, to re-iterate what alot of people have said here, it is way too alkaline for your hair, it is positively damaging, alot of things in nature can be too harsh for you. I often just wash with cornstarch and water, or just WO, alot safer.

Oookay. But baking soda and vinegar aren't found in the forest, far as I know
