Hey, I'm Taliesin
I spent a little while on LHC under a different username back in 2020 and even made it all the way from waist to tailbone length!
Then I went to college, came out as nonbinary, chopped my hair to shoulder length, and dyed half of it purple. Good lord, that was a lot of changes.
It was nice to play with color, but the upkeep was a pain, so I grew it out and chopped all the color off again. Now that I've got rid of the dye it's a little bit longer than shoulder length and I'm trying to grow it back out. Trans guys can have long hair too
My next goal is to grow it long enough to put it up in a stick bun again, and after that who knows! Maybe I'll grow it super long, maybe I'll maintain it at mid-back length.
When my hair was hip length it straightened out under its own weight, but when I chopped it, I discovered that I have some subtle waves I didn't know about. I'd like to figure out how to keep those waves alive as it gets longer!

I've also found that my hair has a LOT more texture when it's short. I have one lock at the side of my head that grows slowly and it constantly wants to form a ringlet XD

Welcome back! Long hair looks so nice on masc folks. My fiance has beautiful collarbone length hair ^-^ in my experience, keeping my hair moisturized has really helped define my waves
