The Pendragon Cycle is fantasy book series based on Arthurian legends by Stephen R Lawhead. It was published sometime at the beginning of this century. It's kind of flowy writing, beautiful, very sad, but well told and I loved it. Almost no one knows about it, so I'm not surprised you hadn't heard of it. It's also long, so not many want to try it if they do see it.

Ohhh I was confused. There's Pendragon series and Pendragon Cycle. I wonder how long I've had the two mixed up and never even noticed. I'll be adding the Lawhead series to my want to read list, anyway.

Update: It's (just barely) long enough for a nautilus bun now

Ehehehe, I'd read about the historical Taliesin before, but had absolutely no clue how to pronounce it until watching Critical Role ( ;
