Well, the less work/effort it takes, the better. Am I right?

Definitely! One of the reasons I enjoy long hair, is because I can get away with doing less with it, than shorter hair

    Same here.
Like today when I put my hair up in a nautilus bun and thought, "why should I bother with a hairstick, when my hair is long enough to stay up on its own?", and so the hairstick remained in my pocket unused.

No matter how long my Houdini-hair becomes, it will never stay up on its own for long

Don't know if my hair is thicker or courser than yours, but I can do real headbangs and shake my head sideways violently without a problem.

My hair is just too slippery. I'm glad that I can get it to stay up at all

So it seems I managed to "cultivate fungus" in my scalp (sorry for sounding gross) last time I tried to stretch my washes and use brush and combing technique to clean my hair.
I was at least 7 weeks without shampoo and washing my hair once a week.

My dandruff got out of control by week 8 (if I remember correctly), herbal rinses stopped working at some point as well, so I grabbed my SLS free shampoo. That did help.
Since then I have had to use shampoo more often. At least twice a week. My scalp does not agree going too long between washes now Using shampoo makes my hair frizzy, so I have to use thicker conditioner, lots of oils and a leave-in conditioner.

So frustrating, but it is what it is. Thinking of trying out cassia, I do have a bag of cassia left from the days when I used that in my henna mix. It is quite a hassle, but it should be great for the scalp.

Lets see how long this little lump can get. Viva la natural!

Oh, I am absolutely obsessed with Kathrine's channel. I love watching her care for her hair, it's so beautiful and thick.
