Hi there, I’m Swune. I dyed my hair pastel pink last year and have been studying up on hair care ever since. I’m happy to say that even though my hair is very porous, it’s still growing well. I am now at waist length and am hoping to get down to TBL, maybe even classic if possible!

I’ve actually been following some LHC members on YouTube, but I didn’t connect the dots and realize until I found the forum online. Thanks for having me!

You might be interested in learning about coconut oil fordamage mitigation prior to bleaching treatments (I have done this prior to 1 step of vol40+bleach, and I did this on my mom's hair prior to two separate bleaching sessions with vol40+bleach). I have found it is one of the single most effective ways at mitigating damage if you want to continue to use conventional dyeing methods. Neither one of us really had noticeable damage afterwards beyond a little bit of extra dryness, which was solved with protein+deep conditioning treatments. It's certainly something to keep in mind! ^^

I am not sure how many colorful longhairs are here, but there must be a few. I hope you'll be sharing some pictures of your awesome hair soon!
