Hi and welcome
Hi Alilmi
Thank your for your nice words and welcome me, as I see you are new here too, so I can also say welcome to you
My first few sparkly ones popped up pretty early in life, that is how it is working in my family. Everyone is becoming silver really early and all are dyeing.
So i am the first in the growing out process and I very happy to do so.
Best wishes
Fiorentina
Hi and welcome
.
You wouldn't say from my signature, but I have a sprinkling all throughout my hair (nowhere is an exception), and in front the wispy bits are totally white (short hairs but still, I guess it counts LOL). I think I might be 3% gray. We always forget that the remainder of the hair is still one solid color. Is it worth it to dye all of that for just a couple hairs? Debatable. I'm 50. At this rate, I'll be gray, indeed in my 70s, just like my dad, which BTW I am taking after on this front. My mom was all gray in her 40s. Just saying... it's al relative. I'd grow them out.
Hi lapushka
You musst be very lucky, 3% gray sounds like nothing at all to me.
As far as I can observe the first or maybe second inch of non colored hair near/next the scalp I am a 100% silver white/grey and that all over my head. Yes, that is how it is.
Perhaps I should open up a blog and documenting the process of growing out....
Regards
Fiorentina

Hi Fiorentina, welcome to LHC!
My mom grew out her old dye and has beautiful white/silver hair now. It honestly looks so good on her, but she really had a tough time growing hers out! But her patience has paid off and it looks great!
I hope you'll document your progress!
Hi maborosi
Thank you for sharing your moms story.
I understand what she was going through, it’s the only way. So this road needs to be walked.
From what color did your mom growing out to white/silver?
Yes, I came up with the Idee of documenting the process in a blog with pic ect., but first I need to find out how this blog-thing works. An other question also is, where is a good place to upload pictures…
Again thank you for welcome me.

I have found that the forum's photo album feature works very well. When you upload photos onto your photo album, you will get a link that you can use to post the photo in your blog or in your posts here on the forum.
I have a blogspot account where I have a blog, but I don't use that as much nowadays.
The forum has a good blog feature you can use, too!
My mom grew her hair out from a medium-dark blonde color. Her hair did not take up color very well, so she always had to use very high lift developer, which was damaging to her hair.
Her hair is in much better condition now!
It is nice to hear that your moms hair is in a better condition now.
Yes indeed, hair is not loving developer, I also had proceed coloring very very very regular, otherwise there was that unpleasant white mark...
Now I do not have a white mark, I have a white FIELD.
Yes I thought, I will open up a blog here, good to know I have the possibility to upload picture here. I will have a closer look at the function.
Thank you for the information.
