Might I suggest that for next poll like this, you don't lump hip and tailbone together, as them two are not the same thing whatsoever.

I voted hip/tailbone because I am so close to hip length hair. My hair should be less than an inch away from hip length in December, so I might reach hip length in early 2023. I am excited to see if everyone's answers change for next year's poll in 2023.

Yep! I’ve tried my hand at polls before as well and the limits were annoying. I guess it is what it is…!

Last year I was just grazing waist and this year I am solidly past hip on my way to tailbone!

For me, tailbone was a turning point. I started sitting on it and it was always in the way, and that's when I started wearing it up most of the time. I think for a lot of people, beyond tailbone is just too long. Just my thoughts.

If you take a look at the annual goal length poll from last year, the most votes went to Classic length, closely followed by hip/tailbone. AmRed may be correct that some people get to tailbone/classic and decide it is a tad too long for them and end up maintaining in the hip/tailbone range. It may also be a length where more people find they have reached terminal or they have slightly longer terminals but prefer the thicker hemline at the shorter length.
