How many chops have you done since joining LHC?

I was just thinking of this today. How many 'big chops' have you done since you've joined LHC? Why did you chop?

I have done 3:
One from WL to chin in 2012
(My hair was pretty damaged, and I was a bit mad at it lol. Also, I had failed to remove indigo from my hair.)

One from knee to WL in 2018
(I was really really sick, in and out of the hospital and needed it to be more manageable for a while)

Then I did one from TBL to SL in 2021
(I was in a car accident and TBH I don't 100% remember doing this one. Oops...Hide the scissors!)

How about y'all?

Well, I cut it like three times in six months from knee up to waist, so I don't know if that counts as one or three.

I'm glad I did it gradually, though, because I was able to find a length I'm very happy with. (I had thoughts of going straight from knee to APL or shorter and I'm glad I didn't!)

I went back to a bob twice, because I kept ruining my hair with dye and bleach and henna. I did one conscious chop back to hip from classic, in November 2016 and it took until March 2018 to gain that length back (with 0 trims in between). It took a long time, so: no more "chops" for me. No way, no how! It was due in part of not having a great trimming & maintaining schedule back then. Now that I do, things are so much nicer and easier to "keep" nice and tidy.

I'm active on this forum for less than 3 years now, and in that time I just trimmed several times.
However, I joined LHC in 2014. I cut it from MBL (if I recall right) to above collarbone length, to even an ex-sidecut with the rest of my hair. It was early 2015. Then, I went again from MBL to APL in late 2016 (and I cut the sidecut again, the last time I shaved it was late 2017). Then, I went from waist to BSL in July 2018 (on me is almost 6 inches, I don't know if it counts as a chop).
Since then, I've only trimmed.

I haven’t been a member here for a full year yet, but I joined to have encouragement to not cut back to APL or shoulder like I always do. So far so good, only small trims since I’ve joined.
