No-trimming 2023!

I'm just checking in! I haven't had a trim on the back of my hair since November of 2021! Yay!! But on yesterday the only thing I trimmed was my bangs like what the thread says you can do in here.

Omg, ANOTHER MONTH GONE GUYS!! I totally forgot to check in at the start of the month and almost 2 weeks have already gone by on the 5th month! We are going strong
For me, at this rate, I don't even wanna reshape my hair. I'm so proud of the bouncy curls and love shaking out my hair. I am *shocked* at how long the back of my hair grew, a whole inch??? How is that even possible?? but I went from 19.75 to 20.75. I wish I could say it was even all around but my bangs definitely did not grow that much LOL

I'm here. Still waiting to regrow the hair lost in winter 2021 (just before Covid Vax was available I was sick sick sick - not covid - and had a huge shed). The regrowth is happening, the thickness is about double what it was after the shed, and I can feel a big "step down" when I make a ponytail - from thicker to thinner. At last a single stick bun at the back of my head has enough hair to hold a stick. For a while there, only a topknot would work.

Yup, still here coming up on one year since my big chop next month, so I'm excited to compare and see the progress.
Then I'll be keeping away from the scissors for the rest of the year, then I'll reaccess when I have the length to see if I want to start trimming or to continue on growing. Tbh I have no idea where I'm going with this whole hair thing, so that's kind of fun in a way

Happy halfway point everyone!! I’m so proud of everyone who’s stuck to this challenge for so long, or stayed for a little bit of it, or even considered doing it

I had the urge a few days ago to give myself an undercut/side shave to get rid of some of the thickness of my hair, but I realized how annoying that would be to grow out and I also remembered my commitment to this challenge LOL. Gotta stay consistent!!

I also recently decided that I wanted to grow out my bleached hair streak, so I redyed it to my natural colour and will be trimming that as soon as it’s a length I’m comfortable with cutting. But for now, I have no real reason to trim my hair and will be trying to grow for as long as possible

Just a few more months!! Wooo!

Still going. I had one day where I was considering layering my hair to get rid of bleached ends but decided against it. I've never been happy with layered hair on myself so. Still going strong

Still here too, but tempted to trim when the 6 month challenge ends. Darn those layers I’m growing out!
