    Default Time weirdness

It's 8:08 pm here. "What's new" isn't showing any new activity since 6:43 pm (not impossible but unusual), and down at the bottom, the forum says the time is 6:52...

    What's up with that?

Edit: and it says I posted this at 6:55. I didn't! It's 8:10! So it's not even a time zone difference.

Yeah, at some point it fixed itself? It's weird. In my "What's new?" it looks like there was a gap between 7-something and 8-something when nothing was posted, but that's not true because I was here. The 7-something timestamp is incorrect and the 8-something one is after it fixed itself.

I think that this forum lives it's own life with it's weird glitches from time to time

I suspect that the board's software drops tasks when it gets too busy. This is why pages like "What's New" do not get updated on rare occasions.

Interesting. May be the reason instant notifications have often "failed" for me

No; If that's by e-mail (it escapes me), then something is up with the mail server, has been that way for a long time. At least, news never got to me that it ever got fixed. It's why I always go by the new posts and just scan the page for interesting discussions to me.
