I love it that you have very dark hair as well, I wish I can do very intricate styles too with much longer hair for awesome effects.

Interesting, I've always been interested in henna but never dared to put it in my naturally black hair as I heard that it really doesn't work on my hair color unless I have lots of gray hair, but I also heard that henna can make your hair feel thicker.

My natural color is a lot lighter than yours, and even for me, henna doesn't affect the color much at all. It might give you a reddish sheen in the sunlight. I still like to use it for the conditioning effect and because it's a tradition in my family.

Wow, thanks for the comment. I'd love some subtle reddish sheen in my hair if that's what henna would give me, though in our online shops, they don't seem to distinguish between henna and cassia, they call the latter "the hair conditioning henna version" and I know cassia doesn't really change your hair color.
