    Personally, and this may be because my hair is slightly fine and I'm terrible about protecting it, but Olaplex on my non-chemically or heat altered hair was still beneficial to me. I think it can make up the difference for those of us who don't want to protect our hair.

    lapushka - did you shampoo and condition after using Olaplex? I never noticed flakes before and I'm wondering what caused it.

    After the shampoo it already became very apparent, so when it happened to my mom, we combed out the flakes from the lengths with a fine toothed comb right after and thankfully that went well. She conditioned after that and went about her business. When it happened to me: about the same went down. Combing is no fun with waves and length I can tell you that much. I shampood again, then conditioned. Just to be on the safe side with that much hair.

    I am guessing it's the styling products. Maybe it didn't vibe well, but it's odd.
    WCC method (washing) --- Rinse-out oil (MO) --- LOC/LCO method (styling)
