    Default Comically Oversized Hairtoys Thread

We all have a hairtoy that's a little bigger than we thought it would be and doesn't quite work for what we thought it would, don't we? You know, THAT FORK that makes you feel like one of the Flintstones?

    THAT FORK

I so want to be a cavewoman for halloween so that I have an excuse to wear this updo. I think it's awesome.

This thread idea gives me the lulz. I guess I belong here, as just about any hairtoy would be comically oversized on me at the moment! XD
Growing out short hair, bangs, and bleach/dye abuse all at once. Hold me!

    Hahaha that is huge!
I'm not sure if I have any really head-eating hair toys, I'll have to have a look!

Cool piece. I have one of those. Mine is a hair stick that measures 10 inch. You need some confidence to wear those statement hair toys but I like it

OMG, if I were honest here, I would make soooooooo many enemies, because I think a LOT of hairtoys are comically huge, from the large FIccare on down.
    Nope, not going there....

I love the idea for this thread. Wish I had a giant hairtoy so I could add to the fun.

That first pic is quite something!

I have actually seen someone before with a hair fork that looked way too long, comically so, but she somehow managed to make all the prongs disappear in some sort of French roll. It was quite impressive really.

I don't have any giant hair toys really but I do have a really really long hairstick. I can't wear it because I don't want to blind my husband :P

Talking Re: Comically Oversized Hairtoys Thread

Once, when ordering a set of hairsticks from Pacific Merchantile (Now known as Eaduard Hairsticks) to give as winter holiday presents, he sent me a freeby pair that he said was one of the first sets of hairsticks he had ever made. He also noted that I was probably the only customer he knew off the top of his head that would be able to make them seem practical... I am sure he has a much larger list now.

I was out of town when they arrived, so Snuggles sent me a text to the effect of: "Your order is here. 2 pairs of 5", 2 pairs of 6", and 1 pair of melee weapons." This is what I came home to:

They are Sunburst Orange coloured Maple and they were the only pair from the whole set that I got to keep. I really like them, but I don't have any current pictures. This picture was right after I got them, and you can see it was a hurried bun to show them off (looks to me like the middle is about to uncoil and spring out at the viewer).

I love them, perfect for when I want my hair to be noticed, Like spending time with friends who haven't seen me in a long while. Or when wearing a simple dress, and wanting to do something for a big pow on top. I have to be careful, though, or Snuggles will get a big pow to the face when I hug him.
