Starting at 25 inches, my goal is 35 inches ( I should reach the 22 mark on my shirt).
KinkyRapunzel, that lined shirt is a brilliant idea!

I've spammed this photo a bit around the forum already, but it belongs here as well, as my starting photo!

Your hair has grown so much over the last few years (you do great updates photos)…. And as a side note, you background looks like a Bob Ross painting which is also awesome…!

Hang in there! I find that sometimes I get a really strong urge to cut and then simply forget about it for months and months when something more important comes up to occupy my brain.

Also I'm pretty sure I won't have any trouble hitting CL by the end of 2022, so a wee trim in the middle shouldn't set me back at all, seems like a perfect time to do it.
    Sounds reasonable.

Thank you so much, Isle-of-Mel! I try to stay true to my nature backdrops.

Ylva, I half-forgot you are over classic! You have done amazingly (with the bleach), those ends have vastly improved. Can't wait to see you grow out more all natural hair!

Thanks so much!! I don't quite understand it myself that I am now past classic. It was my goal for so long, and I spent an eternity yoyoing between hip and BCL, and now it feels like I was never even above classic, haha.

Gonna try to continue on the no-trim....since starting(or stopping that..i.e. trims) have gone from about 21 to 23+ inches.

My ends are... Not great! The temptation to cut back a bunch is quite high, and really only mitigated by the fact that if I don't, I'll hit the stretched half of my goal (when I'll start trimming to thicken my ends and such) very very very soon if I take care of the ends I do still have. Knowing how I am, I know that cutting back will just make me frustrated in the long run, but it's so teeemmpptiiinngggg

I think it's because I get bored with my hair but I find that when I style it and keep it looking "good" visually (to my liking), the urge goes away. So I'll be doing that more often!

This is true! I'm definitely trying to keep myself distracted. I know I want to get rid of this hemline buuuut I know I'm not ready to go back to a shorter length anyway. I know I won't be comfortable with less than waist so I better keep the thoughts away!
