Right, so this may sound a bit strange, but I'm POSSIBLY going to be in Riga 3-5 December and it's unlikely I'll be bringing hair products with me because I will be travelling with hand luggage only. That means I'll have to buy things there and won't be able to take them with me. I'd hate to just dispose of them afterwards, so is anyone interested in picking them up from me the 5th of December?

Long shot, maybe not, but I think this is super nice of you! Otherwise if they have smaller containers (of like say 50ml for shampoo), then get those. Now that may be a long shot too, because at least in my country 50ml of shampoo is rather hard to get by.

Thanks, glad to hear it didn't sound too creepy or anything! That was definitely not my intention. I would love to get those travel-size containers, but you're correct, they're hard to come by, especially in products I actually want to use!

I don't know what kinds of things are available in your country/area, but I see empty travel size containers for hair products at drug stores and dollar stores all the time.

Duh, that that did not come to mind! Though I am not sure Ylva even wants to travel with anything. Which might be the point. Correct me if I'm wrong there, Ylva!

That is an option, yes. I don't tend to see those anywhere but I'll keep an eye out.

Over here our discounter does them, Lidl just had some (the new squeezy kind). I was tempted, so tempted. Sometimes even to de-pot the last bit of my Nivea body lotion (I cut the bottles open), they come in so handy. I do have them on hand, but newer versions always are sooo tempting. Me and little jars. I just de-canted some in a little plastic jar as it was the last bit of my bottle.

If you can't find some empty bottles, just buy the cheapest travel size products you can find and refill them with the good stuff. Even if you have to dump the contents, it'd still be less wasteful than trashing a full size container.

I'm also a sucker for little jars! So handy and cute!

True! It would still upset me to have to waste the product, though.

That's what brothers are for! Or anybody you know who normally washes their hair with economy sized bottles of 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner.
