New, sort of
Hey, I made this account a couple years ago but never really started posting because my scatterbrain forgot my credentials almost immediately. I made this account when I was had about a buzzcut, but its about 19in now and wavy. I've never used heat or dye on my hair, and because I grew it out from so short, its basically never been exposed to heat. While I was "enjoying" the shag phase I was mostly just stalking the forums enviously, but now my hair is a bit longer it'd be nice to do more than just clip it up and forget it. My hair takes ages to air dry, even though its fairly thin, and it drives me up the walls, because it is terribly hot and humid in the summer and hair on your neck does not work in this weather.
I treat my hair about how I treat my plants, benign neglect. It's worked so far at least, but it spends so much time up I get shocked every so often because my hair suddenly looks longer than I remember it being. Anyways, nice to meet you all and looking forward to contributing(read:lurking).
