Default SOS! failed search for protective accessory

I know I read about this/saw a link on here but I canít find it searching the forum, Etsy, or even regular olí Google.

Looking for a protective satin sleeve for oneís English braid. You put it on like a sock and secure it to the base of your braid with a buttoned tab. I know someone sells them! (I also know I could make one easily but my sewing machine is in storage.)

    Thanks in advance!!

See Finda's profile. She's the one with what you are seeking!

Are you looking for something like this? I think I remember you commenting on my blog entry.

I got it at this store:
    https://www.etsy.com/de/listing/6224...ctive_10&crt=1
It's in Germany, so you'd have to check if they ship to your location. And it took a couple of weeks until it was shipped out (The owner only starts sewing after an order)

I've purchased them off Etsy as 'mane bags' or 'tail bags.'

Yes! I had already commented on her blog post about it. Man my brain these days.

Glad you found your info. Google is great but sometimes a human bean's better.

Okay I just sent a message to a tack shop in Texas to see if they could make me one, since the shop Finda suggested is in Germany. I hope they get a good giggle out of my order lol.

I'd love to know how it works out for you.

    For those who have them:
How secure are they? I move around in my sleep a lot so I can't wear anything protective while I sleep; if these secure well, they seem like they'd be a good option!

I wear ones with ties, not buttons. But theyíre very secure. Easy to put in, but they didnít come out until I unbraid my hair the next morning.

These are so fascinating! Question for Finda or C Bookworm, or anyone else who has tried one: Do you wear them coiled up in a bun or just loose?
