What was your "Aha! That's my goal length!" milestone?

I've not had an ah-ha moment yet... I thought reaching waist would be it and now I'm wanting TBL. Who knows what I'll want when I get there but I am enjoying the journey and taking better care of it than I ever have before.

I don't have one.

I guess that means I haven't reached it. I do like the idea of having classic or longer with a perfectly crisp, straight hemline.

I replied to a similar thread before and I remember saying, "when it kisses my ass".
But now that I'm in the area, I've had to lower my standards.

When it reaches Hell.......I'll be satisfied.
(except for the ends getting singed)

. When I first started growing my hair I was aiming for waist. I reached it, then I decided to go for hip because it was the next logical milestone. I was going to stop there. Well, then I got LHC-itis. I’m feeling like TBL or TBL+ is where I want to be right now. At the moment it’s the longest length I can imagine myself with. But by the time get there I might find myself wanting Classic. You guys know how that goes.

When I first stumbled across LHC (or second, I think I came across LHC long before that but it didn't strike my fancy then) and upon reading more came across the term "terminal". I'd done everything from shaved to waist length but had no idea how long my hair could get, so terminal was immediately my goal. Still working on that nearly 10 years later.

Calf, I think. I will not mind if I can't reach ankle or floor, and I am terminally curious but realistically if I got to floor then I'd know my terminal was longer than that and I think that'd do me. I want to cut back to calf once I'm done exploring how much longer it will grow.

Knee was a fantasy wish to begin with, but once it started looking possible I set my sights on calf - partly thanks to feeling where my boots and my coat came on my legs, and thinking about feeling my hair there. I've never fantasised about ankle or floor in the same way, and when I got to knee I kind of knew I'd be satisfied with calf, and I am. I would love to have a thicker hemline which is also motivation for growing as long as possible, so I can chop off a very satisfying several inches to hopefully a thicker hemline still past knee.

Don't get me wrong, I would be ecstatic if I can get to ankle or floor (and pleasantly shocked), but I honestly don't plan to keep it in the long term.
