    Default Silk bed hat

Hi I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a silk cap, sadly the one I own won't stay on my head when I'm sleeping so I'm looking for a new one.
    Thank you

    Hi there,

I’ve got a silk one that’s elasticated behind the head from ear to ear, but not elasticated over the forehead. Had it over 2 years now, have replaced the elastic twice, still going strong.

It was a bit of a learning curve to get the thing to stay on my head as I roll over a lot in the night. I learnt also to wear my hair in a loose bun secured with a small fork (placed vertically) then my hair is less likely to push the cap off.

    Good luck!

    Thanks for the reply
I'll try putting my hair up in a bun see if it helps, at the moment I usually have it braided underneath and wake up during the night and my caps gone missing! I'll keep trying hopefully it will stay on lol

weirdly also I think it’s possible to develop a kind of awareness of it/how you move at night that helps to keep it in too, but it might be worth trying a different cap if you get stuck.

What kind is yours by the way?

This is the one I use hopefully I've linked it correctly. I have been looking at one that looks more like a beanie hat I'm hoping that might stay on better.

I actually looked at those as well. Seriously thinking of buying a new one.

I would consider a silk cap IF they made them for small head sizes! I can only find adult ones (60cm is way too big!) or ones for babies (too chuffin small)
No Water Sebum Only since November 2020. Previously water only. Crossed to the dark side and now rocking sebum only. Feral hair nirvana loading...

I use and love this one - Slipsilk turban. I did NOT pay $85 but I think I did pay about $65 with a discount somewhere... I love it. Doesn’t fall off but does move around a little (fine with me). I tend to pull my up and pile on my head then put this on so it is loose within the cap. I have fine hair just longer than BSL and this works for me. Good luck!
