    Default Newbie saying hello!

    Hello everyone! I've lurked on this forum for quite some time and am finally trying to grow my hair long after a rough spell with stress-induced telogen effluvium.

    Graduate school stress caused me to lose about 50% of my hair density within the span of a few months and it was rather traumatizing. I used to easily grow hair that could brush my tailbone, but I haven't been able to grow my hair past BSL since that event. Something finally changed in recent weeks and I'm beginning to see a bit of length (slowly but surely) come in! I'm hoping to be active on this forum as I attempt to grow out the hair loss I experienced and work towards a healthy head of hair!

    My current routine is using a Klorane oat milk shampoo (looking for gentle sulfate shampoo alternatives, this one is somewhat irritating to my scalp) and the Kiehl's Formula 133 hair conditioner. I mix collagen into my tea daily and try to maintain a good intake of iron and vitamin D. I tend to have to wash my hair daily as I have very acne-prone skin, but try to keep it very light.

    Hello and welcome
    No Water Sebum Only since November 2020. Previously water only. Crossed to the dark side and now rocking sebum only. Feral hair nirvana loading...
