April 2021: Tessera Bun

Oooooo, this is giving me Star Wars vibes! I don't know if I can do it with my hair (waist length on a *very* short-waisted person, and with my shortest layer at APL to boot) but maybe I'll give it a shot. Here goes nuthin', wish me luck!

Those buns are stunning Tatsu and Amaryllis! I think I'll give this a try, I don't entirely dislike how it looks on the man Torrinpaige shows, and I think it'll look pretty similar on me.

IIRC I ended up with some sort of stacked bun thing after trying the tessera on WL hair, I should try to figure that one out again. Torrin has both super-thick and really long hair (I believe its CL and she's like 180 cm/6ft?) and Tatsu and Amaryllis showed that you can do it on other hair types as well, but I think the key to this style is to adapt it to your own hair type!

I was at mid thigh when I did this in 2019 and I am short. 156 cm. So I'm not sure that your hair is too short.
