Some devices (such as smart phones) include GPS coordinates in the metadata embedded in digital photographs. This feature can be turned off on these devices. To learn how to do this, search for "turn off camera location" and the brand of your device to learn how. If, for some reason you want location left on, you can edit the metadata for individual photos. To learn how to do this, search for "edit photo metadata" and your operating system.
Do not assume that any platform you upload photos to automatically removes location data from your photos.

Turning off all gps related funtcions, is one of the first things that I do, when I get a new phone.
