Hair growth speed and age of mother during birthing

My husband and I were both born to women well into their 30s and our hair growth rate is faster than average.

My mom had me "late", she was 35, but I was the 4th child! I don't have the exact growth rate yet but my hair does grow fast. My mom's hair doesn't grow that fast which is quite surprising. (I've no idea when her mom had her though!)

My partner is similar to me, his mom had him at about 31, and his hair grows like a weed.

I have a very average growth rate, and my mum was 39 when she was pregnant with me.


ETA: I don't have reliable information about this, but we all have always thought that my little sister have very fast growing hair, and our mum was 3 years older when she was born.

Average speed. My mother was 28 when I was born and turned 29 a few months later.

I’ve usually had 1.5 to 2 inches a month... I grew from shoulder to hip in two years. My mother was much older around 40 when she had me, I didn’t even know I had a fast hair growth till I posted here.

I eat a lot of crap and a lot of dairy, I love milk!
