I've been bumped by the server busy screen a lot today, but the last one just now had the addy (LHC) with "refused to connect", which is a new one for me.

Yesterday I could barely get on. I kept thinking 'how can the server be busy when nobody can get on?!' I wonder if it was a similar issue to before, with hundreds of 'guests' that are bots not people (I can't remember what the exact issue was).
Length goal well and truly met, now just seeing how it grows ...

You can just tell who the newbies are.

No, for real, it's been great for a good long time now, though!

Oddly, I was getting regular server errors last week and I don't think I've seen one since this thread was started. I looked at the guest list and unfortunately I'm not seeing anything obvious there that can be easily addressed, and no where near the number of guests we were experiencing last time, at least not when I looked.

Maybe it also depends on when you get on here? I take big long pauses sometimes during the day, just naturally, between having a peek, and I might just not get them as much that way? Unsure.

It definitely depends on one's timing! Right after I posted, I took a look at Who's Online again and 3/4 were looking at error messages! And I still haven't seen one, though I've been clicking around trying to spawn one. *scratches head*

The "server busy" may be caused by something that the server is doing not directly related to user activity. I know that the email notifications were once shut off because sending email put too much load on the server.
