Get regular trims. A lot of people are surprised when they hear this because getting trims often seems counterproductive to growing long hair faster, however, if your hair is damaged or has many split ends, this is a necessity.

Not gonna lie, apricots *are* very nutritious, but I think it's great you are using those tips for yourself; welcome!

Air drying though, with hair that long, is not necessary (unless you don't mind wet hair for a couple days). A blow dryer on warm / cool is perfectly fine. As long as you can hold your hand in the airstream without it burning, that will be fine for your hair too.
