Judging by my selfies (I didn't think to use a timer) CL to SL took me about 5 months with no trims. That seems to be pretty standard so far.

Since I’m off my feet with my stubborn fractured foot, I’ve had a play with excel to visualise the timings and growth pattern in inches.

    23 inches = BSL

    27.5 inches = MBL

    31 inches = WL

This includes 2 tiny trims in March 2020 and January 2021.

It appears I average 1/2 inch per month and perhaps slightly quicker in the summer.

Isn't growing more in the summer weird? You probably shed more in the winter too!

Jools69, I hope you have a speedy recovery I have a very similar chart I made a while ago in the same Excel spreadsheet I use to track my grow..I works really well to give you an idea of how long it could take you to reach certain milestones.

Indeed. It might have something to do with the warmer weather. Although I’m originally from the Southern Hemisphere (Australia), so perhaps my hair is 6 months out of sync.

Thanks Bat. Every time I see it, it gives me a boost to continue growing my hair.

Thanks CuteCrow. After 4 months off my feet, it’s only now it’s starting to heal. I don’t recommend anyone falling down the stairs and breaking to 2 foot bones. At least I’ve had time to practice new buns.

I agree. The scatter plot gives a good visual representation of your progress and gives you a boost to keep going!

Edit: Oh, I just realised that 23 inches was just above BSL. It was only an estimate before I did start to measure. So I estimate it was probably around 24-24.5 inches.

Oooh cool thread, I like tracking and listing things, so I recorded everything.
    BSL to MBL= 5,5 months (6 cm/ 2,4 inches)
    MBL to WL= less than 6 months (8,5 cm / 3,3 inches)
WL to HL= almost 7 months with two little trims (6,3 cm / 2,5 inches)
HL to BCL= 13 months with two trims (10 cm / 4 inches)

Oh, it looks like I had a growth spurt between mbl and wl.

Nice! I know I showed a timer they was under 4 months from chin to shoulder but it was more a solid 4 months give or take a week, I called it too soon lol. I seem to be half an inch a month grower.

And reaching waist from the dreaded MBA in under 6 months is impressive

Bat, I use this timeline as an estimate. Although it’s based on someone that is 5’7”, it might be less or more depending upon how tall and proportion the person is. But it’s good as a rough guide for reaching milestones.
