Show me your crescent moons

It's just about the only hair toy I don't have: the crescent moon! (You know what I mean, those lovely crescent shaped hair sticks that go into buns.)

I'm going to buy one, I just don't know which one! Is wood the best or is acrylic better?

I'd love to see some pics of your moons in action for inspiration

I mostly have photos of moons woven through braids. I like using them in buns but the buns eat them up and there’s nothing to take a photo of






This is a Furnival that’s almost an elongated moon. I love it - it sticks out of buns a bit more!

Do you need hair of a certain length for them? I've never tried them, they look too 'advanced' for my limited skills!

The smaller the moon, the less hair needed. You put them in just as you would a stick. You might start with a braid or braided bun for extra anchoring.
