    Default Overnight protein treatment?

How dangerous would it be to sleep in a gelatin protein treatment and immediately wash it out in the morning? I use conditioner in my protein treatment so I shouldn't dry out. My hair still likes protein even though it no longer drinks oil.

I did absorb protein in an hour or so with my first 2 treatments. I would make this one a lot weaker, perhaps 10 to 15% of the prior amount of gelatin. I'll probably just do a cassia treatment tonight, but it would be nice to have this option in the future.

Do you mean what risk of permanent damage is there? It really shouldn't be a problem, especially if your hair likes protein. But I doubt there's much benefit to leaving it on that long. It's like leaving oil on overnight; the hair only absorbs so much at a time.

Thanks! I just saw this. Sometimes it's just easier to do a treatment overnight.
